Many thanks to Musicnotes for inviting me to create this special arrangement for their "Signature Artists" YouTube channel! I hope you enjoy my arrangement of the classic love song "My Heart Will Go On" from the movie "Titanic." You can check out the sheet music for this version HERE. ![]() Exactly 5 years ago today, I posted my very first blog post here on chrissyricker.com! This blog started out as my way of giving back to the teaching community by sharing ideas and resources that I hoped would be helpful to other teachers. In the past five years, my little blog has grown to contain hundreds of articles on a variety of topics and dozens of free worksheets, games, and sheet music resources for teachers and students. I've had the opportunity to write guest posts for other blogs and even to be interviewed for a podcast. Most importantly, I have had the opportunity to make connections with fellow teachers from around the world. Thank you, dear readers, for your continued support and encouragement here on my little corner of the internet. I hope my contributions here continue to help make your lessons more fun and your job just a little bit easier! Here's to another five years! Many thanks, Chrissy Ricker ![]() Wedding season is now upon us! Will you be playing for any weddings this summer? I am expecting this season to be quite busy, since many weddings were postponed last year due to restrictions on large gatherings. If you are playing for a wedding this season, take a look at a few of my favorite wedding-appropriate arrangements. These arrangements range from intermediate to early advanced level--perfect for us busy gigging pianists, or even our more advanced students! Read on to see and hear the music! ![]() My "Musicianship Monthly" series will be taking a bit of a hiatus this summer--however, I wanted to share a fun way to help your students keep those musicianship skills fresh, even if they aren't attending regular lessons! (Want to learn more about Musicianship Monthly and see past activities? Click HERE!)
